The Academy for Musical Theatre, led by Heidi Stepanek, was founded in 1998 in Perth, and provides high quality instruction in music, acting, dance and various aspects of technical theatre to youths of all ages.

They are the longest running performers at the Stewart Park Festival – this summer will mark their 23 rd year on the SPF stage! They are proud to have the second generation on stage now, with the children of past performers taking their turn to shine. This year’s epic show will be a Broadway medley of songs and dances from three diverse and exciting productions – The Lion King, Annie and Beetlejuice. Enjoy our colourful costumes designed by Donna Bourgeault, fancy footwork choreographed by Evander Stepanek, and gorgeous voices coached by Rebecca Taylor, from our rising stars, with a few surprises thrown in, thanks to the whimsical and talented Connor Williamson!
