Fun Things To Do
Be sure to check out these activities at
Stewart Park Festival this year!
Want to have some fun after things are over in the park on on Friday and Saturday night? At night we move out of the park and over to the Perth Brewery Patio at the Crystal Palace.
The Crystal Palace becomes a licensed After Hours venue (age 19+), where you can enjoy an amazing night of live music for a $10 bracelet fee each evening.
The Perth Brewery Patio at the Crystal Palace is a licensed patio with free music at the Stewart Park Festival. The Crystal Palace is located beside the beautiful Tay River (and across Gore Street from Stewart Park).
Did you love a performer so much you wanted to take them home? Well, you can have a little piece of the magic. The CD Tent is also where performers stop by to sign autographs. Autograph opportunities will be announced daily. It is located in the Marketplace right near the mainstage in Stewart Park.
Check out our Marketplace with Artisans, Food Vendors and our Wellness Centre (located in the Bandshell).
Get ready for crafts, workshops and performances led by Omnes Arts Circle’s enthusiastic team of instructors! There will be crafts from 11-4 on Saturday and Sunday. Workshops will be from 1-3 on Saturday and Sunday.
If you need to stretch your legs, or step into an air conditioned space for a moment or a meal, our heritage downtown is only one block from the park! Explore our kids stores to pick up a game or activity for the little ones to enjoy, or find the perfect item for your home, or something beautiful to wear, at your next summer party. There are over 20 restaurants and 15 patios inviting you to sit back, relax, and enjoy a delicious meal. Visit downtownperthbia.ca for a list of our businesses and restaurants or pick up a brochure today at the information tent in the vendor market.
The Great Duck Race in the Tay River, happens at 2 pm Sunday, July 17. Kids meet in kids’ area at 1:45, to start the Duck Parade with Magoo! Be sure to stop by YAK’s Duck Race Pit Crew booth to buy a Quack for YAK. Proceeds support YAK Youth Centre.
The Rideau Lakes Nautical Modellers return again to the Stewart Park Festival on Saturday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. It’s always exciting for children of all ages to see these hand-crafted masterpieces whizzing around the water. Visit their tent on the Big Ben Side of the park to see how it’s done.
