Jen Noxon and The Brindled Cats (Brendan Gawn, acoustic bass and Rob McMurray, guitars) will be serving up a tantalizing mix of poetic and painterly original songs by Jen Noxon. With a knack for capturing what lies beyond the obvious, Jennifer introduces us to an eclectic array of characters similar to those you might come across while thumbing through your morning newspaper. Jennifer has two full-length recordings (Watch As You Walk, and SWEET!) and is currently working on a third. She also performed and recorded as part of the trio Frida’s Brow (nominated for a CFMA award). More recently she has teamed up with the Brindled Cats, who share her love for well-crafted songs and toe-tapping melodies. From fall to summer, Jennifer leads Rhythm & Song! a non-traditional sixty-voice community choir in Almonte.
