The Stewart Park Festival attracts the best food and artisan vendors in the area. You can expect to find everything from photography, furniture and jewellery to clothing and craft.

2011 Stewart Park Festival – Sunday Brunch

Thank you for your interest in running the Sunday Brunch in 2011 for the Stewart Park Festival.

This family friendly brunch will run from 9:00 a.m. to noon on July 17, 2011 at the Crystal Palace in the Tay Basin.

Please read the following information carefully.

  • The Brunch Organizers must provide the following:
    • A fee. The amount of the fee will be suggested by you. Please offer a fair contribution (to be paid to the Festival upon notification of acceptance by the Stewart Park Festival Committee).
    • Tablecloths, cutlery, dishes and all food preparing and serving equipment
    • Clearing staff
    • Staff to sell meal tickets
    • 10 complimentary meal tickets for the Stewart Park Festival
  • Stewart Park Festival will provide:
    • The venue of the Crystal Palace, festival decorations, and tables and chairs for 200 people. This venue does not have refrigeration or running water however there is a washroom next door.
    • A musical group to provide entertainment during part of the brunch.
    • This Sunday Brunch will be the exclusive off-site meal event for the Stewart Park Festival. It will be promoted as such in the Festival Program, advertising and through stage announcements.
    • An identifying banner for the venue indicating that it is part of the “Stewart Park Festival” .

Submission:

  • Submissions must be made to 34 Herriott St. Perth, ON, K7H 1T2 or [email protected] by noon on May 27, 2011.
  • The Stewart Park Festival organizing committee will provide notification of acceptance on or before June 3, 2011.

Please submit the following items:

  1. your proposed fee to be paid to the Stewart Park Festival
  2. your proposed menu
  3. your meal ticket price per person and any rules for youth and infants
  4. references
  5. a copy of the organizers liability insurance (minimum 2 million) with the Town of Perth to be later named as an additional insured
  6. your contact information

General Terms:

  • No compensation will be provided in the case of bad weather.
  • The brunch organizers must follow all health and safety regulations.
  • A brunch manager should be designated and will be the main contact with the Festival Committee and be on duty the Sunday of the Festival.

Selection Criteria:

Selection will be made based on the quantity of the fee bid, the quality of the menu offered and its cost to the public. The Festival reserves the right not to select any of the proposals.
