The Academy for Musical Theatre, led by Heidi Stepanek, was founded in 1998 in Perth, and provides high quality instruction in music, acting, dance and various aspects of technical theatre to youths of all ages.

They are the longest running performers at the Stewart Park Festival – this summer will mark their 25th year on the SPF stage! They are proud to have the second generation on stage now, with the children of past performers taking their turn to shine. This year’s epic show will be a medley of songs and dances from two diverse and exciting productions – Wicked and Hairspray. Enjoy our colourful costumes designed by Donna Bourgeault and Ely Miron, fancy footwork choreographed by Evander Stepanek, compelling acting directed by Connor Williamson, and gorgeous voices coached by Paige Meunier.
