It’s been 10 years, 3 studio albums and countless tours since Fisher released his album Goodbye Blue Monday, a scrappy collection of acoustic folk-pop produced by Hawksley Workman. Fisher’s most recent studio album, The Lemon Squeeze, garnered him a 2015 JUNO nomination in the Adult Alternative Album of the Year category, with two singles landing in the CBC Radio 2 Top 20. He played sold-out shows and festivals all across Canada in support of the release. He has 6 studio albums to-date. And that’s not all he has been producing.
Fisher became a first-time father in early 2016, and the child-sized guitar that hangs in his kitchen became a go-to for soothing a fussy baby or entertaining a bunch of kids on a playdate. Soon this grew into turning everyday events into musical adventures. The result is Jeremy Junior where he brings his catchy songwriting skills to a collection of music aimed at young listeners, Jeremy Fisher Junior – Highway To Spell.
