Gord Downie Piano

An added feature this year at the Crystal Palace on the Perth Brewery Patio, is the Gord Downie Piano. It was decorated to commemorate the musical stylings of Tragically Hip frontman Gord Downie. Bring your camera and take a picture with the piano or sit and play between musical performances.

 

 


Mackenzie & Marr Guitar Booth

Be sure to check out the Mackenzie & Marr Guitar tent set up near the Wendy Laut River Stage. There you’ll find some great guitars for you to try out. All MacKenzie & Marr guitars are crafted from solid premium woods. Stewart Park Festival thanks the good folks at MacKenzie & Marr for donating a guitar to the festival. Birch Bark Canoe - Plenty Canada

Join representatives from the Canadian Canoe Museum, Plenty Canada and the Algonquin First Nation to learn more about the history and contemporary role of the canoe. A traditional birch bark canoe built by Chuck Comanda will be on site through-out the weekend. plentycanada.com

 

 

 


Festival Breakfast at the Crystal Palace

Join us Sunday July 16 from 8:30 to 11:30 am for an Old Fashioned Pancake Breakfast hosted by Jamie Law of Law & Orders, with maple syrup courtesy of Temple's Sugar Bush.

It’ll be a family-friendly event at $6 each, $20 for a family and kids under 6 eat free. King of Swingers will provide live music and we’ll also have kids’ entertainment and a crafts table!

 

 


YAK Duck Race

Be sure to stop by YAK’s Duck Race Pit Crew Booth to buy a Quack for YAK. Proceeds support YAK Youth Centre’s programs for youth in Perth and across our region. Tickets are $5 each or a book of 10 tickets for $45. The colourful splash of the 2017 Great Tay Duck Race takes place Sunday at 2 pm.

 

 


Canoe and Bike Tours

Looking to explore the historic Town of Perth or Tay River? Join our canoe excursions and bike tours, each happening on Saturday and Sunday at 1 pm and 3 pm The Canoe Tours leave from the Legacy Bridge behind the main stage, while the Bike Tours will depart from the bike corral near the Crystal Palace. Individuals taking part must sign a waiver and unless using their own bike must leave a credit card number on file for the bike tour. Tickets are $10 each and available at the festival's Information Tent.

 

 


Bicycle Corral

A free, supervised parking area for bikes is located in the Perth Basin behind Coutt’s Coffee with access from both Gore and Drummond Streets. This area is managed by Heritage Bikes & Rentals.
