Matt Andersen’s show is SOLD OUT.

Thanks to everyone who bought tickets in advance; thanks to Lake 88 and Tickets Please for promoting the heck out of the show. See you there!

Rarely do chances like this come along.

Matt Andersen, the big-voiced, big-hearted son of Perth-Andover, New Brunswick, is making a special appearance for Stewart Park Festival, at St. Paul’s United Church, Perth, Ontario.  Matt Andersen has been compared to Joe Cocker for his gravelly voice, to Taj Mahal for his guitar playing and to a force of nature for the power of his live show. Andersen delivers a potent blend of working-man’s blues, folk, and twang. Matt Andersen usually plays much bigger theatres – this is an extraordinary opportunity to see him up close in an intimate, acoustic setting.

And let’s talk about the setting for a moment. St. Paul’s United is a half-round church. It was designed for singing in, and responds beautifully to the human voice. Because of its shape, and its curved pews and balcony, there isn’t a bad seat in the house. This will truly be an incredible night.

But wait, there’s more! We also have a special opening performance by Danny Michel. A gifted songwriter, storyteller, and pop craftsman, Danny Michel will also be headlining at Stewart Park Festival’s Main Stage on the weekend – but you won’t be seeing him like this. Truly, this will be an amazing evening.

Tickets are available both online and in person through ticketsplease.ca of Perth.

This presentation was made possible thanks to support from the Ontario Arts Council, and The Government of Ontario.
