July 17 2015 was a day that would change the lives of Kathleen Cranley and George Bluett forever.
On that day, George left his home in Westport to attend the festival as he has done many times before and Kathleen left her motel attending the festival for the first time. Both of them landed up at The Crystal Palace in the early evening.. They met over her misplacing her knapsack – she found it on a chair next to where George was standing. Well Kathleen thought George was a very nice guy and George thought Kathleen was really cute with lots of energy! They both felt there was connection.
There sure was a connection as on September 8, 2018
In the presence of family and friends they were married in The Crystal Palace in the very spot they had met. There are hundreds of stories about the magic of Stewart Park Festival and this is one of the best. We wish this wonderful couple many years of happiness and many more years of attending Stewart Park Festival
